Celebrity Race Across the World is making its way to our screens as four famous parents and their loved ones set out to complete the ultimate race.

The programme will see the pairs compete against each other to be the first couple to make it from Marrakech, Morocco (the most north-western country in Africa) to the finish point in Tromsø, Norway, known as the Arctic capital.

The 10,000km journey will cover 24 countries, including regions in the mighty Alps, unexplored Central Europe, the fairy tale Baltic States, and snowy Scandinavia.

Celebrity Race Across the World release date

Celebrity Race Across the World was originally meant to premiere on Wednesday 13th September, however it was postponed due to the earthquake in Morocco.

In a statement, the BBC said: "In light of the earthquake in Morocco, we have taken the decision to postpone the first episode of Celebrity Race Across the World, which was filmed in Marrakesh."

The first episode is now set to air on Wednesday 20th September at 9pm on BBC One.
